We will send you a custom box, arrange collection, full service and return. £165 all in or £125 service only.
We use a fragile courier service.
In the event that your deck is not repairable (not happened yet but we have to mention it) or beyond economical repair you will still be charged for box and courier.
SL1200 and SL1210 Full Service
We offer a repair and full service solution for the Technics SL1200 and SL1210.
We can carry out a full service which includes: replacing the pitch control slider, replacing the phono lead, replacing the earth lead. Cleaning the exterior and the motor stator. Lubricating, tone arm assembly, motor stator, calibrate the tone arm, pitch zero point, pitch scale, anti skate, brake and tracking. Full service fixed price of £125 or £165. Other minor faults can be rectified at the same time for cost of parts only. i.e. pop up target lamp £15, arm rest £8. Other upgrades are available like gold leads, thicker earth lead. Servicing includes full electrical and mechanical checks and calibration.

We can often repair while you wait but please contact us first. We carry hundreds of spare parts including many discontinued.
If you choose to pack it yourself for sending by courier please use the original packaging where possible and then put into another outer box. Please remember it is your responsibility to ensure the safe arrival of your item. Do not send the lid, platter or arm weight. If you cannot package or send we can send you a custom box and arrange collection. Please see our page on packaging advice.
